That Enlightened Feeling

People have always pursued Enlightenment with curious fascination, wondering if it's a condition of unending bliss, a state of heavenly wisdom, or one of these and so very much more.  We comprehend it enough to know that it exists, and may have known it momentarily in a dream that we can't seem to remember.  Thinking about it can turn our Mind in somersaults.  But, the feeling of Enlightenment . . . now that's where our experience comes the closest to a reality.  Enlightenment descends upon the tranquil Mind, where  thinking is like someone who drops a pebble in a still pond.  We can see all things through crystal clear undisturbed waters, but our thoughts create ripples and even currents that distort life . . . making waves where all was peaceful and sure.  What we are seeking is not the thought of Enlightenment, but a feeling with no words.  It cannot be described or defined by thought.  It must be known privately, quietly, with a conscious awareness of being.  Free your Mind . . . still your Self . . . feel Enlightenment.

Enlightenment exists within you even at this moment . . . finding it is only a matter of understanding how your Mind, Self, and Body work together to create your Being.
